The mission of VAQ-137 is to protect our Nation’s power by conducting prompt and sustained combat operations to degrade, disrupt, and destroy enemy ground and air-based radar and communications. Our mission will be realized through quality aircraft and systems flown by highly trained aircrew and supported by exceptionally talented and motivated personnel.

Command Safety Policy:

Safety is not a priority or a number one concern. It is a culture that is driven, adhered to, and nurtured by professionals. The Rooks are professional in everything we do, in maintenance, in administration, on liberty, and in the air. The Rooks set the standard, and as professionals demand excellence from ourselves and each other. The culture we create is displayed by a professional and safe work environment both at sea and home.
